Born in 2002 in Southern China, Shicong Li found an early passion for music and started playing the Cello at 8. In 2015, he enters the pre-college of the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing under Yibing Chu. In 2017, as a member of National Youth Orchestra of China (NYO - China), he takes part in tours in the USA, at the Carnegie Hall in New York, and in China with renowned solists such as Yujia Wang or Olga Kern.
In 2019, he enters Jérôme Pernoo's class at the CNSMD in Paris. That same year, we is awarded the first prize at the Competition Luthiers Clars in Valencia. He regularly follows masterclasses and academies with Clemens Hagen, Philippe Muller, Gary Hoffmann, Xenia Jankovic...
In 2022, we takes part in the Schlossakademie in Vienna, where we is selected to play the Strauss Sonata at the Musikverein. In 2023, we takes part in the Academie Kronberg masterclasses with Jérôme Pernoo and is selected to play at the students' show. He is currently studying for a Master's degree at the CNSMD in Paris.
Daniel Streicher (born in 2022 in Berlin) began playing the piano at the age of four. We studied with Galina Iwanzowa, and professors Thomas Menrath and Björn Lehmann. He was a junior student af the UdK Berlin and, since September 2023, he is studying at the Paris Conservatory with professor Cartier-Bresson.
Starting at the age of 10, he has been a solist at the Berlin Philharmonie in Mozart's Piano Concerto KV 467 and is is now a prizewinner of numerous national and international competitions such as the Chopin Competition Budapest 2014, Carl Maria von Weber Competition 2019 and the Leschetizky Competition 2020.
The WDR Klassikpreis 2018, with his duo partner Lewin Kneisel (clarinet) was followed by an invitation to tour Japan.
He also played at the Dresden Music Festival, the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival and the Schwetzingen Mozart Festival.
He received valuable musical advice from Martin Helmchen, Dmitrij Baschkirow, Eldar Nebolsin and Klaus Hellwig.
He is a scholarship holder of the Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben, Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes, since February 2023 with his sister Tabea of the association "Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now Berlin e.V.".
