Today, under the leadership of its president Yannick Lintz, the Guimet is embarking on a major transformation, similar to the one initiated 25 years ago by Jean-François Jarrige. This renewal centers on modernizing its spaces, strengthening its presence in the French regions, and launching new initiatives regarding exhibitions and the development of international exchanges. It also aims to diversify its French and international audiences by making the collections more accessible to new generations of visitors and by expanding approaches to cultural mediation and intercultural dialogue.

For the past 100 years the SAMG has gathered amateurs and professionals with a shared passion for Asian arts who ensure the institution’s influence in France and all over the world and contribute to the enrichment of its collections.
