In 2026, the Villa Guimet will create an online documentary portal with editorial content to guide researchers and the general public in their research on and around the collections held at the museum.

This digital portal will eventually bring together all of the Villa Guimet's collections and numerous resources: artwork descriptions, archives, scientific documentation, photographs, graphic arts, books, symposium proceedings, resident research notebooks, digital catalogues and critical editions of archives.

- Digital catalogues of the collections, providing access to the various collections of the Guimet Museum.

- Agence RMN Photos, distributing reproductions of works from the Guimet Museum.

- Joconde database, catalogue of the collections of the Musées de France with 3,203 descriptions of works from the Guimet Museum.

- Syracuse, ‘Collective Catalogue of National Museum Libraries.’ This dynamic and scholarly catalogue allows users to browse through the books and periodicals of national museum libraries.
