The Musée Guimet will continue its role as co - editor , alongside the École
française d ' Extrême - Orient ( EFEO ) and the Cernuschi Museum , of the journal
Arts Asiatiques , a peer - reviewed scientif ic publication . A multi - year development
programme will be implemented jointly by the three institutions , with the aim
of strengthening the visibility of the deferred open access journal ( Persée ) ,
as well as the promotion of articles resulting from the research carried out
by the museum ' s curators and the resident researchers of the Villa Guimet and
the gradual integration of thematic files coordinated by the curators and / or
associate researchers .
At the same time , the Villa Guimet ' s digital portal will publish online the
proceedings of the conferences , the residents ' research notebooks , documentary
portfolios or critical editions of archives . This portal will be interoperable with HAL
and OpenEdition to enhance the visibility of the work .

is committed to an active policy of digitization and dissemination of research
resources via an enriched digital catalog of works , the gradual online publication
